In this prayer meeting, we pray for our country, our congregation, and each other as we are taught in Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God [ESV]." Our country, and Christians all over the world are in dire need of prayer. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
